Rockstar sees noticeable fall at Box Office in weekdays...

Bollywood movie Rockstar did very well at the collection centres across the county in the first weekend. But Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri starrer film witnessed downfall in its business at the domestic Box Office in weekdays. According to reports, the musical flick has registered 40% to 50% drop compared to its first day collections.

Imtiaz Ali directed Rockstar received a very good opening at the Box Office with its collection reaching Rs 10 crore net on the first day of its release. The movie picked up very well in the multiplexes across grossed Rs 11.25 crore net on Saturday. It witnessed same growth on Sunday too and added Rs 12.50 crore to its first weekend total, Rs 33.75 crore net.

However, Rockstar opened well on Monday and earned around Rs 5.75 crore net. It even fell further on Tuesday with its collection reaching Rs 4.25 crore net. The movie witnessed dull response even at multiplexes, where it had registered almost 100% occupancy in the first weekend. It is likely to do well at the Box office in the second weekend as there are no big releases.
